We don't go nearly often enough to Roma d' Italia Ladera Ranch, we say every time we DO go.

If we lived closer―though this is by far our closest Roma, the others are the Tustin original, our former local, and one in Orange―I know we'd be there far more frequently.

Our most recent visit, ravenous, Ivan and I had pizza with eggplant and anchovies and a coupla icylicious Sinatras, which is what they call a regular martini. Le Mangeur had veal parm, I believe, with all the Italian-restaurant trimmings. We loved EVERYthing.

Not forgetting to mention: THEE BEST fried calamari. Srsly. A major don't-miss.

Resolved: Got to Rd'I way more.

Is this related to the Roma D'Italia in Tustin? Forgive me if this has been answered already.

Yes, it is! And no, it hasn't! It's the same fam, anyways, though it seems to be run on its own by a single branch. Could be how all the Romas operate... I'm guessing.

Sadly, Roma d' Ladera seems to have closed. No more Sinatras for Ivan & me, at least locally, I guess. Will be missed, the Sinantras AND the pizza.

Ya, was related. At least, the same family was involved. There is at least one other location, too... maybe in Orange? Guess I could look!

Doh, it says right there on the website. Yeah, three (well, now two) locations. Whodathunk? I liked their gnocchi.

Wait, gnocchi? Ah well, at least there's still Tustin.
