Just opened in August. I watched it being built since, when I don't bring lunch from home, I have a tendency to choose Uoko, two doors down, for my midday sustenance.
The food is better than I expected. I actually thought this was part of a chain, so you can imagine the ideas I had going in. But I was in the mood for something bright and zingy on a hot day and it seemed like a good shot.
Turns out not only is it not part of a chain, but everything is made fresh, with care. You can see it in the salads: I remember thinking to myself as I was eating the tabbouleh and the fattoush that it seemed like they were just cut up that day. Apparently, they were. Nice knife work.
Anyway, everything was good overall, including the aforementioned salads. Pita itself was delicious, but they need to change their assembly methods a bit - the roasted vegetable (outSTANDing flavor) was too juicy and fell apart, while the chicken, with the slightly overcooked meat and barely any dressing, was too dry.
Still, recommended. I know I'll eat there again. I'm thinking next time I'll get the roasted vegetable bowl - the vegetables really were so, so good - so as to avoid the problem handling the pita.
